Every week we write our spelling words onto small index cards, which we keep in a small cardboard box that we made at the beginning of the year. We practise our words each morning by taking them out and going through the ones we are not sure of. We can ask our partner to spell the word and best of all it is so easy to put them into alphabetical order. While Ms Rendes marks the roll, we just get our cards and work away. At the end of the week the cards get moved to the back if we spelled them correctly in the test.
